Early Childhood Educator
YMCA Whittlesea are seeking an experienced, passionate educator to join our team at Orchard Road Community and Early Learning Centre. The successful educator will be working in a room of 22 3 year olds.

This is a full time position with a monthly RDO. The shifts are on a four weekly rotation (shifts will rotate between 6:30-3:00, 7:00-3:30, 8:30-5 and 10:00-6:30 on a weekly basis).

You will have plenty of opportunity for professional development and personal development (upskilling). This position is for an immediate start.
As the Early Childhood Educator, you will:

• Assist in developing and implementing a high quality program
• Document children’s learning
• Provide a friendly, safe, clean environment for all children
• Build trusting relationships with children, families and educators
• Have a good understanding of EYLF and NQS

Selection Criteria
As the successful candidate, you will:

• Have a minimum of 3 years of experience
• Be eager and enthusiastic
• Be able to work as a team player/in a team environment
• Be a strong leader

• Have experience with StoryPark (but not essential)
The successful applicants will hold the following current qualifications:

• Current Employee Working With Children Check
• Current National Police Check (no more than 6 months old)
• Current Level 2 First Aid (minimum HTLAID003)
• Current CPR (minimum HLTAID001)
• Asthma Qualification
• Anaphylaxis Qualification
• Minimum Cert III in Children's Services (or equivalent)
