No doubt you have heard the news that metropolitan Melbourne, will return to Stage 3 restrictions from midnight July 8th.
Over the past few months, we have weathered the storm of COVID-19, ridden the rollercoaster of shutdowns and easing of restrictions only to be forced back into lockdown for six weeks.
While I’m sure this is disappointing, and somewhat frustrating, we are in this together.
TRAC will close again from 9pm July 8th, for the next 6 weeks.
Parts of our business will continue on-line with some great programmes you can do to keep strong, fit and healthy. It is incredibly important, more than ever, to keep your activity routines and stay connected, so please follow our socials and check out our websites for more information.
We are not going anywhere and will keep working to ensure we are ready to re-open when we get the green light from the State Government and health experts.
FAQs for customers regarding coronavirus and its impact on your Centre
If you reactivated your membership it will be automatically placed on suspension until the centre re-opens. We will keep you updated with new information as it comes. You can visit ilovetrac.com.au for updates too.
Does member suspension include program payments (PT, Swimming Lessons etc)?
All programs are on hold so if they have paid by direct debit they will be suspended until re-opening. If you have purchased them outright (example 10 PT sessions) we will honour them and extend the expiry date upon re-opening.
What about fixed term or upfront members?
Fixed term and upfront members will also get an extension to their expiry for the length of closure. This will be also administered upon re-opening.
When will you re-open?
At this stage we have been notified by the State Government to close for a further 6 weeks at this point. We will communicate with you when we have more information and will re-open when it is safe to do so. We’re working with Council and Government to follow advice and information is changing rapidly at this time.
Will Swimming lessons be resuming next week?
Unfortunately swimming lessons will not be commencing next week like we had anticipated due to the facility now being closed.
What is happening with staff?
Supporting our staff and volunteers through this difficult and uncertain period is our top priority. We are communicating directly with all staff to ensure they are equipped with the right information. We appreciate your concern for our staff and know that you will miss them during the centre closure. As soon as we can reopen our staff look forward to seeing you.
Please don’t forget that we will be sending you some great online resources to assist you to maintain your health and fitness during this time.
We thank you for your ongoing heartfelt messages and support and we look forward to re-opening as soon as it is safe to do so.
